The apartment was clean and they provided everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There is an outside partially covered porch area which would be nice to use in warmer weather, although you have to climb a few stairs and out a window to access it. The apartment is spacious by Japanese standards. Not too far of a walk to the subway line.

I give the hosts a mediocre rating because they stipulate one set of towels for your stay (we were there 5 nights - should be more generous for > 3 nights). They also stipulate use of one bed for two when there are two beds in each room. Ordinarily it's not a problem however my wife caught a cold, and I have a bad back and knee (fusion and replacement) so I need a bit more room. These conditions were presented after I made my reservation, so I knew going into it what I was facing. I was traveling with my daughter and finding accommodations with the privacy of two bedrooms is limited in Japan. In addition, the entry stairs are a little steep and a hand railing would make it safer when descending. There is a fair amount of road noise in addition, more noticeable at night. The crows may wake you in the morning (not necessarily a bad thing). It wasn't a completely negative experience, it is a decent place to stay.
