Tommy’s apartment was exceptionally well presented and spotless

Everything there that we needed for our stay. Ludovica let us into the apartment and showed us round and was so very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this property.

Nothing to dislike!

The warm welcome, the beautiful furnishings, the comfy beds, the space, the location (20 mins walk to town) the parking, the breakfast. Truly terrific stay.

Nothing, it was perfect

Such a beautiful, clean and family friendly apartment, we couldn't't have asked for more. Great location with parking. We had a car but could walk to town in 20 mins. About 1 hour drive to Sorrento and Nerano. We also took a 30 min bus ride to Vesuvio. Children loved the place and had to be encouraged to go out. Pompei main high street is also lovely. Anna and Ludovica were very kind and helpful, advising on Pompeii and helped with other sightseeing questions. The breakfast supply was fantastic and there was everything needed to make a simple evening meal. I would recommend Tommy's Apartment to anyone and hope to return one day.

What's not to like?

It's a really good stay, especially for that price. It has everything you need.

Nothing

Clean, comfortable, and a good place for a group or family to catch a decent night of sleep. Parking is easy as well. If you’re in Pompeii for the ruins, you can get in your car at 8:45am, drive 12 minutes, and park right at the front gate at 9am before anyone else arrives. Pretty convenient! The hosts were friendly and very responsive as well.

The WiFi was a little finicky, but it eventually did work. No real complaints otherwise!

Friendliness, helpfulness and prompt arrival of the owner/staff. Ludovica spoke perfect English. Apartment was well appointed, clean and comfortable. No audible noise from other apartments in the building.

No lock on bathroom door - not ideal when with a group of people. Slight smell of the drains in the bathroom.

The bedroom space is great and very comfortable. The kitchen is small but enough for breakfast and to make a snack with a good size fridge. Liked the washer and ability to do our laundry whilst there. The location is pretty good, it is quite a decent walk from the main town area (c1 mile). However the selection of little shops along that road are great for what you need - little supermarket, local bakery and fruit/veg stall. There is a small train station about 15-20 mins walk away from which you can get to Naples and thus stops for Vesuvius and Ercolano (Herculaneum). You can’t however get from Sorrento from here without changing lines without quite a wait! The hosts were brilliant and super responsive to our needs, service was faultless!

It’s was much more noisy than anticipated, whilst set back it is very near a road that is always busy. There are lots of local homes and businesses near by so cars, trucks and motor bike noise until late night and from 5.30-6am! The apartment would be improved by more comfy seating inside, there is a big dining table which we never used - the kitchen isn’t big enough to cook a full meal in! But There is only 1 small sofa which even for the 3 of us wasn’t comfy to relax, so whilst it sleeps 5-6 there is no where to sit and relax for that many! The outside space is also tiny and if the 2 parking spaces are filled you and sitting right next to the cars, it isn’t private either although it for ‘your use only’. No where to sunbathe or relax properly after a long day out. I’d say this apartment is a fab base for exploring this area but for the 10 days which we stayed it lacked space to relax when we needed more than a space to sleep.
