Lovely Condo near monkey habitat and beach

This is a two-bedroom, two-full-bathroom condo on the ground floor of Laguna Eco Lodge, near Isla Damas about two miles north of Quepos. We are a family of four (kids are 7 and 9 years old) who stayed there in August 2022. It was clean and comfortable, with well-functioning appliances and good air conditioning. You park right out front in a small parking lot. The back door leads out to a patio with a table and chairs, which faces the lovely pool and gardens of the condo property. There is a large, warm pool with several different depths (including very shallow) and an unmanned bar with swim-up barstools; there is also a baby pool. The owner was very responsive and had good suggestions for activities and excursions, including Playa Biesanz, which was very enjoyable (but take your water shoes for the tiny rocks in the sand!), and an amazing mangrove tour with Don Walter at the next-door Nacarosta Wildlife Adventure. It's at the end of a 1-mile gravel road off the main highway. It takes about 10 minutes to get into downtown Quepos by car, and about 20 to get to the national park at the far end of Manuel Antonio town. We enjoyed not being right in the thick of things (the sounds of nature and the stars at night were spectacular, as were all the iguanas casually lounging around the grounds) and it was easy to drive to beaches and activities and park. Highly recommended.
