Apartment below the stars

A beautiful apartment. The balcony - complete with flowers, herbs and fruit trees - has to be unique in Rovinj. We loved sitting there in the sun enjoying the amazing 'vibe'. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is comfortable. The apartment is surprisingly large. Vesna is a lovely host. We were surprised by the beauty of Rovinj - the magical harbour in the evenings, the laneways, the artists up on the hill on the way the cathedral. The sunsets. The apartment is a just a few metres from the Flix bus stop and central to everything. The "Old Town" vibe with narrow streets and surprising laneway was fun to explore.

Very nice, quaint apartment with a local flair in the perfect location. Next to shops, Rovinj city, parking and beaches. And the woman who ran the place was very friendly and helpful. We had such a lovely time.

My only suggestion would be to add a second ductless AC unit. It gets really hot in August and the one AC unit was situated so that it only really cooled off the main room at night.

Wonderfull place! Terrace full of flowers, lemon and olive trees. Nice apartment. Close to the Rovinj sunset.

Location is perfect, the flat is very spacious and the terrace is just gorgeous. Vesna was amazing host. Overall the place is a bit outdated, but very charming. We will be back.

Lovely balcony and great location. Right in the old town and very close to the bus station. Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach. We got a boat over to Red Island (€30 for 2 people )a couple of days which was brilliant for swimming and snorkelling. There were plenty of sun loungers dotted around the island - some in precarious locations!! The hotel staff do come round and charge for them -€20 for 2. The restaurant in the centre of the 2nd island did great club sandwiches and the portions were such that you only needed 1 between the 2.

We couldn’t the find a washing machine but Vesna kindly did our washing!

Lovely and spacious apartment in a great location! The blooming terrace is a wonderful spot to hang out on mild summer evenings. Vesna made us feel at home and was very helpful. A true retro-balkan-style gem that sticks out in its uniqueness.
