Apartment Delux

Prostran i udoban smještaj na dobroj lokaciji ako želite biti blizu stare jezgre, ali ne potpuno u vrevi. Najviše nam se svidjela prostrana terasa/unutarnje dvorište.

We recently stayed at Villa Delux Rovinj, which is advertised as accommodation for up to five people. While there were certainly some positives, the villa didn’t quite live up to its “delux” title. The location is excellent—set in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to Rovinj and nearby places to eat. However, the villa itself could use some improvement. When we checked in, the dishwasher was still filled with dishes, and the fridge contained half-used items left by the previous tenants—specifically an opened carton of milk and a tub of Philadelphia cheese. This gave the impression that the property hadn’t been properly cleaned or checked before our arrival, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the hosts were accommodating and allowed us a late checkout at just a day’s notice, which we really appreciated.

The air-conditioning in the living room wasn’t working, which made the main space uncomfortable during hot weather. The kitchen is limited, featuring only a combination microwave instead of a full oven, and there was no towel provided for drying dishes. In the bathroom, the toilet seat in the shower room wasn’t properly attached, and the bath tap was stuck, meaning we were unable to fill the bath. The second bedroom, which contributes to the advertised capacity for five, is essentially a study with a large desk and no hanging wardrobe space. As there were only two of us, we used it as a dressing room, which worked fine—but it may not suit a full group. The outside space is quite small and lacks privacy. There was only one sun lounger, which is not ideal for a villa designed for five people. We were also frequently visited by a dog from the communal garden next door, as the owner often threw a frisbee across the area. The villa overall feels a bit dated, and with some modernisation—plus thoughtful touches like a welcome pack with milk, coffee pods, and bread—it could be a much more comfortable and welcoming stay.

The apartment was fantastic, especially the pool table with having 3 children. It had everything we needed and was in a brilliant location, very close to the centre, supermarket and shops. The outside area was lovely to sit out in and relax, and it was so quiet. The host, Marsela was really helpful and met us late at night to check in, and also gave lots of recommendations which were needed, as you really are spoilt for choice in Rovinj! Its an absolutely gorgeous place to visit and i would 100% recommend this apartment and host.

Beware of the mosquitos, there were loads when we visited.

Ruhige und zentrale Lage. Genug Raum für die ganze Familie. Terrasse war zum frühstücken ideal und auch abends zum geniessen bei einem Schluck Rotwein.

Weingläser waren nur 2 vorhanden

Great location, well stocked kitchen, outdoor access, responsive staff.

The second bedroom is really an office.The bed is a pull out couch with a mattress topper.Huge desk takes up a lot of room and the only place for clothes is on the office cabinet shelves.
