Too far away from the beach ⛱️. No sea views. Nice apartment but not for vacation

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The dishwasher was definetely a bonus, the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Terrace very peaceful for the early morning coffee to start the day.

The property has a hiking trail which with some difficulty, leads to a beach area. However, the trail to the beach is through the forest area, therefore it would be difficult if carrying beach items, and preferably not to walk alone.

The room was good. The owner should fix things that are not working.

Linen was not good to accommodate couples. Scotch Bedding. Towels should be enough. Iron was not available

The apartment was beautifully appointed and so clean and fresh. The complex is very safe - biometric access and secure parking. It is conveniently close to the airport and Umhlanga as well as Marine Walk Mall. It is a very peaceful place with a lovely patio area - and beautiful rooftop pools overlooking the ocean. I would definitely recommend this spot for a business trip as well as for families with kids - as there are great play areas, and large pools with slides etc.

It would help if cleaning services were provided even if it means we pay extra for that service.

The apartment was extremely clean which is great. The apartment was also spacious and opened up onto a big veranda.

When we got to the security office, it took us more than 45 minutes to register and access the property. The security were slow and confused. Other than that we were told that the hostess did not give them permission to let us in (via email). I had to call her personally and then there was a long discussion to get us in. The other issue was that no unit number was provided in the listing or in the communication on how to check-in. We then drove around trying to find the parking lot to park in as there are more than one and the parking bay does not match the unit number. More confusion! Over 1 hour and 15 minutes later we finally made it in. The night before the trip we were told the following: This is a self catering unit, there's no towels, or toiletries. Also no tea and coffee. So keep this in mind - No Toilet Paper! I did read other reviews about the internet so was prepared for this however also note that you will have to use your own login details for Netflix, DSTV etc... The hostess did not even apologize after the access issues. Beautiful apartment however don't expect quality with beddings etc...
