Luxury Sliema Residence

The hosts were very kind and informative. The location was not prime but convenient enough.

The towels smelled dank so we had to wash them again.

Loved the stonework and ceiling beams and the place has been recently renovated to its current state. Very typical Maltese home being long and narrow. Very good Wifi, good selection of channels on the big screen TV, and nice rooftop patio area but without much of a view. Lucas is a very personable host who made sure everything was good and also provided local tips for things to see and do as well as restaurant recommendations.

Shower floods the bathroom. Either the drain needs cleaning or a lip on the shower edge to prevent water flowing out needs installation. Could use an instruction manual for using the washer and dryer as it is a combination unit with spin dry only.

The apartment has recently been renovated and is positioned well, where you could walk to everything, with shops close by. The owner had tea, coffee, sugar and water available, along with cleaning products so we didn't have to source anything during our stay.

Each time we used the shower the water would run out onto the tiles wetting the floor and the clothes etc. Finding out about the cleaners fee on the 2nd last day of our stay. This is something that should be communicated well before a person arrives to the property. Also, there is a local resident who lives a couple of doors down who argued with people, yelling etc. fortunate for us we could speak Maltese to him, and he didn't yell at us. The locals said this is a daily occurrence, sometimes early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

A bit small dining area for 4 persons and more Ventilation seems not well functional: Laundry didn't fully dry even after 2 days
