Authentieke woning weg uit de drukte maar toch in Sliema. Wij verbleven er 31 dagen en komen zeker terug. Andras is een hele goede host. Alles op loopafstand, hele gezellige historische woning, alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Wij waren zeer tevreden, we voelden alsof we even op Malta woonden.

Als je zou willen excelleren met deze woning zou ik een ander bed aanraden. De bank is tijdens ons verblijf vervangen in een loungebank. Het bed ligt niet slecht maar ook niet super comfortabel met 2 personen omdat ik thuis een boxspring gewend ben! Maar ja het is ook geen hotel natuurlijk maar een echt authentiek Maltees huisje.

The stay was fine. The place is much bigger than the avarage places in Malta. The price is good as well. There is a private garden, separate kitchen and separate bedroom which is nice. The location is very good. There is a nice bakery just 20 meters away. There is LIDL 5 minutes away. And you can go to the waterside for like 7-8 minutes. The area is nice with traditional houses around. There are two new air conditioners which work great. The hosts have been helpful and shared with us a good welcome page which is always great. In the house you can really feel that you are in Malta, very traditional feeling.

I have read all of the previous comments for what the people didn`t like in the property and i agree with some of them and now i will explain which one are true and which are not: -i am not the type of person that complain BUT the bathroom is really small even for not big people -the TV is actually working BUT there is no remote control, which makes really hard using the TV -the place is really not very clean, there are pillows and blankets which are not washed from a very long time -i can`t really say it was very loud, there are 2 additional doors between the outside of the street and the bedroom which stops the noise from the -the bed was good, i can`t say it was not comfortable If the host spent more effort on cleaning the place and just do some small improvements based on the people feedback it can become a great place!

The place I wanted to stay for longer time, it was simply amazing! The interior design, the feeling and experience of living in true Maltese house were extra bonus. Have no idea what is wrong with people, who leave negative reviews, but this place is the one that helps to even more fall in love with Malta! And the view from the kitchen window is now so much missed :(

Beautiful spacious apartment, kitchen well equipped, bed was comfy, aircon worked great, and back garden with washing machine was very useful. Lock box for key made our stay easy and simple. Lots of storage space and hanger space for clothes. Hairdryer provided they also had some shampoo. Decorations were lovely and overall very happy. Location is great, with a bakery and frozen supermarket under a minutes walk away. 8 minute walk to seafront of Sliema.

TV was not good, needs a new TV. Apps would not work apart from Amazon Prime. Remote worked 50% of the time. Took us too long just to put a movie on after a long day of travelling the gorgeous island. This is my only real complaint. Though the back door to garden doesn't lock - Host assured us its safe (Malta is a very safe island, in my opinion!) but for higher review it should lock.

Great decor and good location

In the middle or our stay a neighbours sewage exploded across the property’s garden/courtyard. I messaged the host about it that morning and they took no accountability for the issue. Despite asking multiple times they didn’t send anyone to clear it up or look at the issue until after we’d checked out. Unpleasant smell, unclean and lots of flies for the second half or our stay so a real shame. Don’t stay here if you want to feel clean or use the outdoor space. Only once we left they sent a photo of someone opening a drain cover on our street which looked like it had been taken on a different day, and they blamed the local council. No accountability for poor piping in the back garden and no effort to clear it up during our stay.

The appartment was very beautiful and cozy. Everything you need is there.

The apartment is beautiful. It is a traditional Maltese place. It is very well equipped with utensils, pots, pans etc... There is a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, iron, hairdryer, everything you would have at home. The location is also great, with a Lidl about 7 mins walk away. But closer by there is a frozer food store, which has loads of different meats and a grocery store just up the road run by a charming mature gentleman that has amazing vegetables, cheeses and other general grocery items.

Being very picky here, the utility room is a little damp, but you only go in there for the washer. The ironing board could do with a new cover and the pillows are quite hard. The bathroom is on the smaller side too. But as the place is a traditional Maltese place (older) compared with a modern apartment, it is going to have different dimensions. Overall, stay here if you want to see real life and try out a traditional place.
