Location was very close to all the attractions of Sopronas well as other less touristy areas like the University area. Make sure you go to the Lenke Villa just around the corner. The apartment was very well appointed.

A lovely, quiet place to stay. Well equipped with anything we could have needed. Very clean and homey. Clear instructions from Judith made communication very easy. The little Christmas decorations were a very sweet touch for this time of the year. About 10-15 minute walk to the train station and just around the corner from the main part of town.

This superbly-located apartment offers good value for money and the host is very responsive to all communications. The apartment itself is spacious and nicely decorated, and in a quiet courtyard just a few metres back from the main road - so it's quiet and feels very private. The free private parking is a bonus too (in a city where parking is hard to find and expensive). The only areas for improvement would be some attention to small (but important) details: the sofa is missing back support (there's a big gap down the back) making it uncomfortable to sit on, for example, and while there's a dishwasher and a washing machine (which, sadly, wasn't working at the time of our visit) there are no dishwasher tablets or a small container of laundry soap, nor even any soap or shampoo in the shower. These are small details, but having stayed in so many equivalent-priced apartments all around Hungary, we did miss these basic items. Overall, though, a good choice in a perfect setting and certainly beautiful Sopron will be on your doorstep. :-)
