Emmy's Guesthouse

This was a wonderful apartment with everything you could imagine provided for you. Also, there was home baked bread waiting for us and Emmy also baked some biscuits for us. There was jam, honey, butter, coffee, tea, sugar....provided which lasted the two of us for three days, plus some left over. The garden is a wonderful spot to have breakfast and enjoy an evening drink and meal in summer weather. The bed is comfortable and the living area is open and spacious and the apartment is very close to Mystras and Sparti. Emmy and Theo were both very friendly and helpful.

Nothing, everything was so good!

Todo es perfecto, el apartamento es la planta inferior de una casa. La comodidad de la cama de matrimonio, el gusto en decoración, el más mínimo detalle está en casa, el patio donde poder aparcar o tomar un café desayunando. La cocina es completísima, al igual que el gran salón. Todo reformado y limpio, un gusto conocer sitios tan acogedores. La anfitriona es un encanto, se preocupo por nosotros en todo momento para que estuviéramos cómodos e incluso nos aconsejo sitios para comer próximos.

Todo fue perfecto.

One of the best places we’ve ever been to. Extremely clean and fully equipped: it’s got everything you need, and even more. The hospitality of the hosts is the highest possible.

Tudo era fantástico!

It was close to both Mystras and Sparta making it easy to go both ways. It was quiet and rural with lots of olive trees and orange trees and quaint (very narrow! Get a smallish rental car of you’re like me and a bit of an under-confident driver) lanes. Picturesque and clean inside with laundry facilities and privacy for an outside picnic if you wish.

It was not good for walking but would be great for cycling or driving. Was a bit dark but also cool and quiet. So, you’re not in Sparta area to sit in your suite anyway! And outside is a dream… look up when you’re in the backyard and you’ll see why it’s an awesome place to stay… no hints… you’ll have to see it for yourselves!
