Clever Cube - Amazing Alpine Studio Unit

Amazing location with the sun shinning in through the room morning & evening! gorgeous accommodation, had everything we needed. Very comfortable.

Awesome private hideaway minutes from central Twizel. Pretty cool having a bath outside under the stars with a wine in hand.

A small bathroom sink to do dishes in. I guess we could have not done dishes, but that doesn't seem right.

The Clever Cube certainly is clever. Extremely well designed and has everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay. Lights, heat, air con, fans, underfloor heating are all controlled by "clever" pads It is a short drive into Twizel where there are very many good places to eat - particularly "Poppies". There is a kettle and a toaster, tea, coffee and milk provided. The deck was the perfect place to sit and take in the dark sky experience - completely stunning.

It was in a nice quiet location and the outdoor bath was very nice. So was the shower and toilet and very clean. The outdoor area was great. We even enjoyed the Labrador visiting every day.

Unfortunately there was no working air conditioner so when the temp was sitting around 40°it was too hot to be in the cube during the day and very uncomfortable at night, there was a wire hanging down by the door and an opening in the ceiling above the wardrobe , not sure if that was for the air conditioner or not. There was blood on the mattress with a sheet just put over it and the hem of the drape was dragging on the floor as the stitching was undone. Also what I assume was the black bin for the rubbish was already full so we were unable to use it.
