Our stay was lovely .the house was very cozy,with everything needed for cooking.the position is amazing 5 minutes from the high street ..I will be booking again.

Location Value for money

The host made the apartment lovely and cosy on arrival and it was a nice space to sit and have a drink in the evening. Initially I was skeptical of the bank transfered deposit we were required to pay before arrival, but that was also returned swiftly after our stay. Location is great for getting into the centre of Rochester and is very close to a nice pub too.

The shower wasn't the best and we had to go out and buy shower gel as none was provided, which is slightly annoying. My biggest gripe though is the mattress which really really needs replacing as it doesn't make for a comfortable nights sleep.

The location is perfect

The apartment was really cold, whilst we did appreciate there were 2 small heaters, they were insufficient to heat the place comfortably. I was 100% certain that the bedding wasn't clean, it had a stale cigarette smell to it & felt grubby. The bed is possibly the worst bed I've ever slept in, it was extremely uncomfortable & every slight move resulted in shudders, springs bouncing around,quite honestly the mattress is well past it's sell by date! We didn't use the shower, for 2 reasons, a, the bathroom was freezing & b, the towels were rough & felt damp. Luckily we have family so we showered there! But..... the single biggest issue with the apartment was the lack of a fire escape, I felt worried & was concerned so consequently I didn't sleep well at all, with all things considered, whilst the apartment is perfectly positioned, it has several problems that need to be addressed. Tbf, the £25 extra deposit for damages, theft etc was refunded the very same day.

Great little flat, Josie was lovely and easy to get in touch with if you ever need a hand. Will definitely stay again next time I'm working in Kent.
