Great accommodation 5 star in this sector even brew there own beer which like accommodation is 5 star

Nothing everything first class

Location good...room light and airy, water nice and hot.

A hook on the bathroom door inside to hang towel on before shower would have been nice, as would have a little shelf to put a few things on like toothpaste etc. Couple of tumblers would also have been handy. The hair trap in the shower was so clogged up it slowed the water from draining out well, only discovered on the last morning..someone hasn’t cleaned that out for a while !!!!! Another chair would not go amiss either, as there is room for one. Overall the accommodation fulfilled our needs , but as my other half is 6ft , he found the sloping roof caused him to stoop, and now has a dodgy back. I’m 5ft so didn’t find it much of a problem.

Friendly hosts, clean and comfortable accommodation. Pub dog in the garden was a delightful bonus.

A microwave would be a helpful addition to the space to enable food reheating.

Fabulous location from Stonehenge on our cycling route. Great, comfortable room above the Micro brewery.

Very clean, well-maitained, friendly hosts, easy to reach. Quiet and peaceful area.

Bed was a little hard for me.

We stayed for a few days so that I could attend my nieces baby shower in Newbury. The studio is above the garage (used as a microbrewery) behind the pub. We booked for Friday to Monday and arrived just before 4pm. Parking is available in a turning just passed the pub, but please be aware it is restricted during the week. On the Friday we had dinner in the pub. Was probably the best lasagne I've had in a pub (husband had the special, enchilladas and he was very impressed). They serve some good beer (their own and other local beers) and a good glass of Sauvignon blanc. The owner and his family run the pub and do the catering (Fri evening and Sun lunch only). The food is excellent and all freshly prepared. My husband ate here Sunday too. The room itself is built in the roof of the garage so the ceiling does slope (may not be suitable for anyone particularly tall). The bed was comfy (dogs are allowed and they seemed happy on the floor by the bed). My only issue would be the shower. The flow and temperature are great, but the new shower head is a bit heavy for the holder and kept falling out while I showered. There are a few walks and cycle routes accessible from the pub, and the train station is about 2 minutes walk (Bath to Paddington line). We would come again, especially if heading down to the West Country to break the journey.

Great location next to the pub and had off road parking for my bike. Even enjoyed a pint of the local brew.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was fine, no cooking facilities except for tea & coffee, which were provided. Ideal for our one night stay, a short walk to the town centre.
