Apartamento Tavira

Apartment was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Pictures on booking were accurate. Situated in a quiet neighborhood only a 5 mins walk from Tavira city centre was the perfect location. Host was excellent, very informative and responsive.

Great location in a residential with local restaurants and cafes. Easy walk to city center. Very comfortable apartment with nice living area in which to relax.

Nuno has loaded the apartment with everything that you could possibly want for a long or short stay.

Everything. Met with the owner who showed us the apartment. Left food, drink and wine for us which was such a nice touch. Recommended restaurants. Overall, one of the best places we have stayed.

Everything was great.

Nuno the owner met us at the apartment. What a wonderful man and host. He gave us a tour and made sure we were able to utilize the keys and understood how everything worked. He provided bottled water, wine, cheese, fruit, bread, coffee, milk etc. It almost became a game for us as we said "I wonder if they have this?" and everything we could think of looking for Nuno took care of. It was like living at home but much cleaner and well kept, LOL. All the furniture was very comfortable. The apartment had blackout shutters and drapes. There were even wash cloths which you rarely seem to find in Europe. There was a dishwasher and washing machine. He even had recycle containers in the apartment which showed a commitment to the environment. All kinds of little items that one might need while traveling but not have packed were available here. This apartment was absolutely sensational in every respect. Street parking was readily available. We had been to Tavira before and were sad that we were only staying at this wonderful apartment for two days but we hope to return within the next year or so and would not even look for another option if Nuno's place was available. WELL DONE, NUNO!!

Just perfect in every respect.

Very clean and spacious. Host met us at door and clearly explained the details of the apartment. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Excellent touch.

We loved the personal touch of meeting Nuno and the treats he left for us. Parking was easy and local, and we enjoyed walking around and going to Santa Luzia for Octopus and the walk to Tavira Island.

Spacious traditional apartment in the quiet residential upper town with very well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, a good bathroom/shower and good aircon. Good TV with Sky News in English, and good WiFi. Met by great host (Nuno) and excellent welcome pack which included fruit, cheese and a nice bottle of red wine. A short walk from the station and about 15 minutes down to the river and ferry to the Isla. Excellent fish restaurant nearby (a do Peixe) open lunchtime only. Small cafe and supermarket next door, and nice cafe/restaurant (Violetta) nearby on the way down to the old town.

All was good and we felt very comfortable in the apartment, so nothing we didn`t like Just one suggestion - it would be good to have a grab rail to hold on to in the shower, for seniors¬ such as ourselves!

The owner Nuno was super helpful and informative . He also left us some basics and a bottle of wine. He then kept in touch but in a non intrusive way . Spotless and had everything you needed.
