Central Tavira apartment, Casa Oliverio

Everything😀 Location couldn't be better. Apartment was spacious, it had everything and more that you need. Even had oils and balsamic vinegar, spices etc if you wanted to cook. We cooked one night and great to help the budget a bit when on a long holiday. Great restaurants around the corner. Bisto do Rio and one on the Terraze along and near the river bend away from the Roman Bridge. Excellent information from the owners. Comfortable bed. Great waterfall shower and newly renovated. Can't go wrong here!!

The central location was excellent. The overall size of the apartment was wonderful. Good size kitchen with everything that you would need to prepare food.

Very clean apartment and lovely host. Although, the location is very central and excellent for walking everywhere it could also be extremely loud at all times of the day / night. There is a café right across the street and they do provide live music once a week (we were there for the month of February). The music was very loud in the apartment (even the bedroom) until the wee hours of the morning. The bathroom has no heating and no matter how warm the rest of the apartment was the bathroom would be freezing. The floors were generally very cold so slippers were always a necessity (which really isn't a big deal and in the heat of the summer might be very nice indeed). Close to proximity to groceries.

This apartment was superb, the host Christine came to the apartment the day after we arrived by appointment to give us details about the facilities, area etc. This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in & have stayed in many over the years. The apartment is large & well stocked with everything you may need. A cleaner was provided during our second week. She changed the bedding & towels and mopped the floors and generally tidied. We didn't cook in the apartment but there is a full cooker & oven, washing machine, microwave , kettle & toaster and the cupboards were well stocked with various oils etc, there was also plenty of cleaning products. Loads of storage and hangers also iron & ironing board & hoover. There was plenty of information on the area and maps etc. The area around the apartment was busy and within easy reach of the 2 train stations. Lots of lovely restaurant's and coffee bars particularly Cafe Venezuela on the way to the station, the cakes are delicious. I can't think of anything negative to say about this property or the host. Highly recommend. Pat
