it was 3 floors up in a historic building.our balcony had a view of the cathedral where we had coffee and drinks with a view.W e were welcomed at the door.our host carried our bags up and gave us loads of information.

Really lovely, characterful apartment right in the very heart of Toledo. The owner met us to help us to park in nearby parking he had organised for us which was invaluable in a city where driving and parking are both very tricky. Amazing Roman Bath remains in the foundation of the building.

It didn't bother us but there are quite a lot of stairs to climb - on the other hand if this is a problem for you then the very hilly Toledo city centre probably isn't the best place to visit!

Our host was very good, great communication and recommendations. When there was a problem with the kettle he provided a new replacement straight away. Location is excellent with magnificent roof top views from the little terrace. The apartment is on the top floor of an interesting historic building, constructed many centuries ago, over the remains of the Roman Baths. Didn't need it but there is air conditioning for when it is very hot.

One expects a few quirks when staying in a historic building. However, the floorboards are very creaky, something that we found quite annoying after a while. Getting them fixed would be a big improvement. The shower was small, because space is limited in the bathroom, but the shower head and water flow rate could also be improved. A few more mugs would be useful for us Brits who like our tea!

Perfect location, friendly welcome and recommendations for where to eat were valued. Amazing view from balcony.

Stunning position at the top of Toledo, with views including the Cathedral. Nicely renovated, historic, spacious, comfortable, quiet apartment. Miguel is a very good and informative host who was even happy to drive us from the bus station in Toledo's summer heat.

A/C not the strongest.

Everything about the apartment and the location. It was on the last floor of an historic building with a beautiful inner courtyard. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, as described. It has fantastic views of the city and particularly the cathedral (illuminated at night) with windows in each room, which made it very luminous. Besides a terrace, it has a very cute private balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Loved it!

Nothing; it was all good. Just a note that the apt is on a 3rd floor accessible by stairs only.

The location is amazing in the center of old town. It has a special feel to stay in a place with such ancient history. Under the apartment are some Roman Thermal baths that they found during the renovation. ( entrance is free). But the highlight of this stay was meeting Miguel, our host and the best ambassador for Toledo. we will love to come back with the rest of the family.

Very peaceful and gorgeous panoramic view. The bed mattress and pillows were very comfortable and I need to point this out because this is an exception not the norm. I had a wonderful repose, rest and sleep. In the early morning with the mist, view over charming Toledo and coffee on the terrace was a delightful experience. Miguel is an excellent, kind and knowledgable host of this historical, heritage property. Miguel provided several links for restaurants, attractions, supermarket etc...he is very helpful. There was a coffee machine with excellent strong coffee capsules, thank you for that!. It has all the appliances needed-dishwasher, stovetop, fridge and washing machine.

Note as many other people have there is no elevator so if there are problems to go up stairs, it might me a little difficult. Miguel helped me with my suitcase and as far as stairs go, it really isn't that bad to go up the three flights. As the building is quite old, the pipes produce water which taste a bit musty and I noticed this when drinking tea so I just bought bottled water and it was fine. The floor is very noisy and squeaky just as a note-it did not take away from my overall experience but it was a bit annoying and as a suggestion maybe put some carpet/rugs on the floor to absorb some of that noise. If one or two larger mugs were in the cabinet that would be appreciated. These are very minor things and the view is well worth it and the wraparound terrace is an extra special feature.

Outstanding location and the paid private parking nearby is a real bonus. Walking distance to everywhere in the casco histórico. Miguel is extremely helpful. On any future trip to Toledo I wouldn´t bother even looking for anywhere else, we´d come straight back here.

If you´re going to Toledo you already know it´s hilly, so you´re probably able-bodied but if not you need to know the apartment is on the top floor of a splendid old building with no lift.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, near to the cathedral. It's an historic building with up to date facilities. My apartment was on the 4th floor, but that did not phase me, and of course it provided rooftop views. Although it's in the centre, there were no problems with noise. The host was great, he even met me in his car on the edge of the city and guided me to where I could park my car in secure private parking.

Very little to dislike. My only comment is that I would have liked larger cups, as I am a tea drinker - the coffee cups are fairly small.
