Thin towels, sparse bedding. Few blankets. Small bathroom.

The location was excellent and the apartment was fantastic for a family of 4, with lots of space and a balcony to see the beautiful views. The apartment was well equipped and had useful extras such as parasols.

The electronic key card was often difficult to use and when we had a problem with entering the property on one particular occasion, we were unable to get in touch with the property manager for several hours. This was eventually rectified but was a rather stressful moment on our holiday.

Clean, pretty street, easy to get to, well stocked, pretty

Unsealed shower, leading to water all over the floor. No ventilation in bathroom. Sibi Bou Said is very dark compared to the photographs which are clearly of different apartments owned by the same company - the decor was different to the photos. Cheap mosquito net around the bed. Extremely loud noise from neighbouring properties until 12.30am despite signs to limit noise between 10am and 10pm as it is a residential area. Noisy cleaners coming in and vacuuming the properties before 8.30am which woke my daughter up. We contacted the property a few weeks ago to ask if we could check in one hour earlier a few weeks beforehand and they said no. We knew this apartment was empty as we saw it advertised on booking.com so not sure why we had to wait until 4pm. We only stayed at the apartment as there was no cancellation policy and we would lose our money. To have rented this apartment between 4pm and 11pm at £229 GBP for just one night in low season when there are so many good seafront hotels is extremely poor value for money.

We stayed at this charming apartment nestled in the heart of the old town, and our experience was simply magical. The picturesque streets and the historic ambiance truly enchanted us at every turn. With the beach just a stone's throw away, our leisurely strolls along the shore added an extra layer of delight to our stay. Plus, the convenience of being only a 30-40 minute drive from the vibrant center of Barcelona was an incredible bonus!

Our stay at this apartment was unfortunately marred by the outdated building's poor soundproofing between floors. The noise from neighbors was exceptionally loud, to the extent that it felt as though they were right beneath or above us. We highly recommend checking in with neighbors beforehand and politely asking for quieter conversations, as it significantly impacted our ability to rest and relax during our stay.

It was clean. Decor is nice. Location is fantastic. Beds are comfortable .
