First floor studio apartment seconds from Balluta Bay IPAP1-1

The apartment provides everything that’s needed for a stay in Malta. A bus stop is close to get to multiple locations on the island. Some nice restaurants are not far from the apartment. In general, the location is great. It is a bit noisy, even with the window closed, however, with the main Street right outside, this was expected.

We were shocked, when we entered the hallway of the building. It was dirty, smelled like pee and during our stay we met many cockroaches (dead & alive) and a mouse (or a baby rat?). One day, we also had a cockroach in the bathroom (see pictures for proof). The owners offered to call the pest control for the apartment. However, it didn’t seem like they felt responsible for the hallway. Given the price of the apartment, I think this state is not acceptable. In the kitchen, you need to immediately store away your food, as there are some ants running around. The mattress could be renewed as it was very saggy.

Great location near Balluta Bay. Everything is near, bus station, shops, restaurants,.. Beautiful view from the apartment. The owner of the apartment was very friendly and helpful. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures.

We didn't like the mattress, it was too soft and not comfortable.

Location is perfect. Just around the corner from Balutta beach. Close to shops, restaurants and bars. Only a 20 minute walk to the ferry stop to get to Valetta.

One night without air con. But the host was very quick in solving the problem promptly.
