Host was readily available via What's App. Opened the door remotely and guided us to the key box. Convenient to all the sites.

Narrow street with limited parking. Half floor below grade with a low ceiling.

Very clean apartment with everything that you need for a short or long term stay.

Very clean, newly refurbished apartment with good materials with a bedroom and kitchen/living room area and a bathroom. The AC is on top of the exit of the bathroom door, and the idea is it should cool the whole flat which is impossible. And it’s HOT in Verona during summer. The flat is aprox 15 min walking to the Arena area (which is where the old town starts. It’s 5 min w taxi from train station. The lady who greeted us was very kind and attentive and replied fast and contacted us prior to arrival to know our arrival time.

I wanted AC, which is why I chose the flat, and was disappointed with the “split” above the bathroom door which frankly wasn’t enough. I also had to pay when there, which I hadn’t read (it probably is written somewhere). It was ok with the credit card though. But it created a bit of stress.

Location was good, not too far from the town. There was a lot of space in the apartment. The host was pleasant and checked in via Whatsapp and her daughter who managed check in was polite and friendly.

The flat wasn't really clean enough - behind the furniture was a lot of dust (I noticed as I moved the bedside drawer a little so I could plug the lamp in) and this was the same for most of the flat, lots of corners missed for cleaning. They've made a lot of effort with reducing the humidity, the dehumidifier runs and it's very quiet but you can see the damp in the bathroom. Totally understandable that sub-surface apartments get damp, but it's not what you want when you're on holiday.

The place was more than what we needed. It was beautiful, comfy and the shower was great. The owner did a great job with this rental apt. We did not need to use the kitchen only the bedroom and bathroom.

The TV could be placed in a better location to rest and watch tv, other than that the place was by far the best place I stayed in Italy.

When booking with Alla tomba di Giulietta you don't have a choice of rooms or different price/availability, therefore you are lead to believe you'll get what is seen in the advertising pictures. As a matter of fact they probably have more than one room within a residential building, but you don't know which one you get - and which one you're paying for- till you get there. My room was the one in pictures 24 to 27, partly below ground level, heavy stale and damp smell, poorly maintained, tv with no signal, furnished with unwanted goods (old furniture, ripped bed sheets, rusty kitchen appliances) shower mould.

The great part of this location were the facilities. It had everything from hand soap, a washing machine, olive oil etc so it was perfect for someone looking to stay somewhere fully equipped. It was in a good location - only a 15 minutes walk from Ponte Nuovo and it was a really clean, comfort place to stay for a few days. 10/10 Would recomend.

The only issue was that when I picked up the keys it was dark as I couldn't find the light and I couldn't find the keys straight away. I had just arrived in Verona and was alone with my suitcases so this was a bit scary. I called the host but unfortunately it was a really bad line. Luckily enough, the taxi driver who had dropped me off stayed with me and called her on his number (both Italian numbers) and then the line was clearer. Not really anyone's fault but just be aware if you're travelling alone to get all instructions before arrival in case of a bad line.

Location and sitting room was good.

Bathroom (shower and toilet dilapidated). Washing machine in bathroom didn’t have anywhere to dry stuff afterwards.

Lovely little apartment, central and friendly owners - would definitely recommend!
