Close proximity to everything, so no need for car! Exactly as pictures. Bread, milk and fruit waiting for us was a really nice touch. Annabella and Tiago are great hosts!

Anabela & Tiago are great hosts. They made us feel welcome, and we're quick to offer help and advice. When we arrived, there was a welcome gift of milk, bread, and pate, and there were little gifts of local treats when the apartment was serviced. The only problem we had was the WiF dropped out, they quickly got it back for us, but in the main the connection was fast & reliable. The information folder was crammed with really useful information. Bus routes, ferry times, re cycling points, as well as essential service numbers and cards for local businesses. The apartment is clean & cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped, including an orange juicer. The bed is very comfortable, and the shower is great. There is no safe in the apartment, which was not an issue for us. Tavira is a very safe place, Gharb Diem is in a residential area, and the apartment is very secure. There's a ceiling fan and air-conditioning, both work well.

The traffic in the mornings (only for about half an hour) can be noisy if the windows are open, but with them closed, it's hardly noticeable.

Espectacular

The apartment was clean and very convenient, as although situated on a quiet street the town centre, river, ferry etc were all within a short walking distance. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and had kindly provided fresh bread, milk and fruit for our arrival. There was a useful information pack and everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Nothing really, although if we had known the weather would be so warm in April we might have looked for a property with a balcony or outdoor seating area.

This is a compact and well-equipped place benefiting from some private outside space. The hosts were attentive and friendly. The location was convenient and local parking was free. Tavira is a pleasant base from which to explore the lovey Eastern Algarve We felt we were in authentic Portugal not just some tourist development based in Portugal.
