Artist Hideaway Garden Studio Woking

It was a lovely little hideaway. We loved the unusual stairs to get up to the bedroom. Very cosy and quaint. But ideal for a short stopover.

Due to the time of year, it was very warm in the bedroom, but there was a fan provided which was very much appreciated

It did have everything you might need. It was clean and the hosts were lovely and very keen to meet our dog. Parking was easy to access around the corner. Sainsbury's local was a short walk away, so easy to get food shopping. Despite being a very hot week, it stayed a reasonable temperature without too much effort on our part.

Not something we didn't like as such, but something to be aware of. It was small and required good mobility to access the bedroom (more of a ladder than stairs) and there was very little headroom in the bedroom. The WiFi seemed to struggle a little with two video meetings at the same time, but that's probably an unusual situation.

The hosts were extremely helpful and very friendly. I always look out for quirky places to stay and this didn't disappoint. It had everything one could need in a small space. Nicely decorated with all mod cons including a coffee machine which we don't even have at home! The position was great for me as I was able to walk to my friends house. Also thete was a Sainsbury's around the corner so meals were easy

A couple of garden chairs would be nice but that's me looking for something to answer this question. It was really absolutely fine.

The hosts were wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The location was good as I needed to get into the city for the weekend. Great garden space for the dog to play in and within a 10 minute walk from the estate was a beautiful river woodland walk.

The property was much smaller than I expected and felt cramped. Basically a converted summer shed. Climbed a ladder to access the bed area which was extremely difficult to stand up in because of ceiling height. Manageable but not for the feint hearted or those with any disability or issues with movement.
