Artist Hideaway Garden Studio Woking

Intelligent communication following loss of mobile. Loan of spare so I could complete mission - ie reason for trip to Woking to visit my newly discovered Gt granny's grave from the AMAZING Brookwood Cemetery (WELL WORTH A VISIT TO WOKING for). Very great kindness & understanding of my distress (which I hope was suitably contained) with practical solution you couldn't have dreamed of! Liaison with the Muslim Taxi Driver's WhatsApp group for the return of my phone, which I had assumed was gone forever, which is due to be delivered tomorrow. Now that is what I call deluxe PLATINUM level service and a very wonderful tale my Granny daughter of said Gt Granny would have ROARED with laughter about. Oh and the precious photos were "We transferred" the same evening. Being environmental engineer, I LOVED the environmental awareness and very very clear booklet, although a Smartmeter may help people understand, I have gained the same understanding by simply reading an ordinary meter every month for the past 25 years. I was a little too warm, so I turned the heating very thoughtfully provided OFF! Loved the ladder to go to bed, of course it wouldn't suit someone with mobility/balance issues. A really really well designed home from home. But most of all after a fluke piece of bad luck... life throws you lemons and sometimes... human beings come up trumps.

It was a little dark at the key safe so I turned to get my phone I had in my hand checking door numbers seconds before leaving the taxi... I figured I just needed a bit of torch function to sort that out! By the grace of the universe I had remembered the code, as unusually there were out til gone midnight! That could have been a very very unhappy 5 hour wait.

Unusual, cute, quiet, very well equipped (apart from egg cups - this hardly important, though). Helpful, friendly host.

Loft bedroom quite tight to access

Claire was a lovely host who met me at the door, escorted me in and ran through everything personally. The hideaway is in a slightly quirky location but once inside is a haven of peace - private and comfortable with everything needed. A compact space but very cosy and homely

The location is rather more 'built-up' than we had expected from the photos and some of the furnishings are getting a little tired but, all in all, a great stay

Lovely stay . Claire and Maurizio were charming, friendly people, who made us feel very welcome. Sorry I forgot to put the dishwasher on before leaving!

Really cute little place with everything we needed. We could use the garden for relaxing and meals outside. The owner Claire was very friendly and welcoming.

Love the secure garden for our dogs. They really enjoyed being able to roam in their new environment. Claire was very helpful. The bed was really comfy. I liked how the stairs were steep and so it felt very private It was quite romantic and cosy with the windows open in the bedroom too Everything we needed was there for us and we would definitely stay again
