Bed & Bike Zagreb studio apartment

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bed and Bike Apartment in Zagreb, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the cozy atmosphere to the excellent amenities, this accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way. The apartment was not only clean and well-maintained but also beautifully decorated. The attention to detail in the interior design created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. Host Maja and Michael in Bed and Bike Apartment were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and had everything I needed.

The room is small, there are no windows, you enter through the balcony door, which is the only opening, and consequently you have no privacy! The entrance is from the yard right next to the window of the neighboring apartment and simply every entrance or exit can be seen, which leaves a very ugly feeling, because there is no privacy! At night you can sleep, but again the feeling is unpleasant because only the curtain covers you! Sound insulation is bad! Someone was talking at night around 10 pm and it seems as he is in the same room. At the day you have a curtain and you can see almost the whole room from the yard, what give you unpleasant feeling. Actually it's not an apartment but a small studio. The next problem is parking. even if it is stated that there is parking, and it is listed under the " parking" criteria, there is no parking space. You can find it and you don't have to. There is no parking reserved or exclusive for this place! Furthermore, a parking space is quite expensive, if you can find one, which increases the price of accommodation. When I contacted the person regarding parking when reporting the time of arrival, she was polite at first, but when I arrived and settled in, and contacted her because I couldn't find a parking space, she was very rude! To the question , where to buy a daily parking ticket, the answer was that I should wait for the fine that I will get under the wipers and that it is the simplest way? During the conversation the women was ,as I said very rude and threatened that will quit the call if I do not been calm! As I explained before It was unbelievable that somebody need to pay a fine to pay a parking place !Furthermore, there is no free Wi-Fi. I could not connect to it on any of my three devices. The studio is clean, and nice arranged but still too small, and without privacy. For the current price too expensive and regarding all together mentioned above it is to expensive and very unpleasant place!

Apartment is very lovely and it was clean, bright and spacious for two travellers.

Personal preferences ahead, but: the bed was very very very soft, we would be waking up nonstop due to being too soft. Not for people who dont enjoy soft matresses :')

- Terrible smell : at arrival we thought it smelled like cigarettes, the owner told it might be paint, we found out the smell comes from a wet wall with mold circles behind the fridge, also some mold in bathroom. They have put an ioniser but this doesn’t help and is to noisy to sleep. We slept with the terracedoor open to have fresh air. - No privacy, the room is in between the private parts of the family, walking by frequently - No filter to make coffee : answer of the owner “drink instant coffee” - only 2 bikes, both for men and to high for ladies, the citybike lost its chain after 500 m, we asked to pump one of the tires, answer of the owner “you should have asked yesterday” but they were not home when we atrived.

Great premises, very comfortable.

It is a bit of a walk to the buses in order to get into town.
