Central, quiet, easy walking distance to all major sites. One can walk within 25 minutes to all far-reaching ends of the center. SPACE: The floor plan was perfect, the furniture simple yet tasteful. The niche where the bed was placed was well thought out and, in a way,  acted as a good room divider. UTILITIES: The kitchenette and bath (included a washing machine, which i direct use) had all the necessary amenities and were well thought out in their placement. Both the heat and cooling system worked perfectly (I only needed to use it once). LIGHTING: There were enough lamps to provide all ambiances of lighting - from dim-yet-warm to utilitarian bright. AMBIANCE: The apartment I stayed in was on the mezzanine level with a simple yet pleasant view of a tree filled courtyard. The sense of total privacy and quiet, even with open curtains was fulfilled. This is a big plus! The only l downside (for some people) of the many trees and the sense of privacy they trees provided was the lack of direct sunlight. This is NOT a criticism. It's only a factual detail. OBSERVATION: Apropos one criticism I read in the reviews before I booked the room: I saw cats in the courtyard, but they posed NO problems (neither noise nor stink)...  It might be a seasonal issue. Well folks, that's how nature works. SERVICE: Goran, the manager of the apartment, was available upon my arrival and was extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. THE BUILDING: Older style, not modernized but clean and well lit entry. NEIGHBORHOOD: Urban, pleasant, located on the main street right in between the main station to the central square. Cafe located just outside the door. Two supermarkets within a 5 min walk. MY RATING: My value-for-money at-the-time-of-me-booking rating of this accommodation: HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE! CRITERIA FOR MY REVIEW: My review is based on my over 40 years of traveling experiences in over 80 countries.

I have no criticism of this apartment, just an observation The apartment was PERFECT in all of its aspects from a value-for-money point of view. This should not be a problem at all for people who visit for a short stay, for people who are out and about for most of the day, for people who want privacy to open windows, for people who want quiet. For people who like to wake up to a bright sunshine drenched room, this might not be an option - at least not for long stays. Excellent apartment, clean, tidy and pleasurable

Very nice apartment, decor has changed slightly from the photos - toned down and looks much better. Room has everything you need, comfy bed, and the location is very convenient. I was able to check in early which was great after an early flight.

My only complaint is that checkout was at 12pm but the host knocked on the door at 11:45. I understand guests can sometimes overstay their welcome and I’m guessing there was another booking later that day but a gentle reminder of the checkout time via message would have been better. This aside, the host was very friendly.
