Good location, close to the main terminal. Apartment is comfortable for short stay and the owner also let us in earlier which helped us a lot!

Apartment itself was fine, clean (apart from stains on the sofa), bright, comfortable. Good communication with owner, and clear access instructions. Good location for central train station. Good soundproofing with the windows closed.

Faces onto a main road, three lanes of traffic each way plus extremely frequent trams. The photo below was not taken at rush hour!! With windows open the traffic noise was significant, but with windows closed the room became very warm, so nighttime was a choice between noise and heat /lack of ventilation. Internal communal corridors from lift to apartment were hot, dingy (painted brown and with poor lighting, motion activated), and a vague funny smell. List of rules left in the apartment - nothing that impacted on our plans, but a bit off-putting, eg, curfew 10pm, no unbooked guests to be in the premises after that. Also, put the garbage out, with directions on how to find the garbage bin /chute. We never found it, dumped the rubbish bag in a small bin by the front door :/

Location is handy for the central train/metro station. There are shops/bars and restuarants close by. The key was easy to access with the given code.

The room I was given was not the room I booked. I had noted on the reviews that some people mentioned an apartment located facing a major street so I specifically booked one with a garden view i.e. facing the inner courtyard. When I got to the room they had given me it was the room facing the 8 lane urban highway. I think it might be categorised on the site as the 'studio with landmark view' (I imagine the landmark is the small portion of the Palace of culture and science you can spot if you make an effort to lean out the window). I contacted them but they said that the room I had booked was not available as they had elderly and young refugees staying it and hoped I understood and wouldn't ask them to move. 'Things' happen I guess but the professional way to deal with any issue would have been to let me know before I arrived and we could have discussed....not have left it for me to contact them after check in. Also, there was no attempt by them to come up with a solution even though I said I was not happy. And they never contact me during my stay to see if the noise was indeed being an issue. Long story short, that room is indeed noisy but thankfully less so at night and with the use of ear plugs I slept fine. The curtains are very light so I used an eyemask. If you like a dark and quiet room this is most likely not for you. In addition, the facilites are a little tired. Grubby couch and the plug for kettle coming away from the wall. The bathroom was not particularly well cleaned prior to my arrival - there was a big clump of hair and left over empty toiletries from other guests in the shower. And for a nice send off they were knocking on my door at 10.05, 5 mins after check out as I was gathering my final things together. So, overall a disappointing stay and wouldn't return or recommend unless you are stuck. My friend stayed in another apartment they had to offer which was much better appointed - so I guess you could be lucky.
