The location was fabulous - easy parking just outside the historic walls

Strange layout with the second bedroom in an area with a communal entrance and staircase. ok for my 28 year old son but I wouldn’t want young kids using that room.

Clean, close to everything of interest, easy to find. Google Maps and Waze had no issue with the adress from Booking.com. Large apartament at the ground level.

The owners live in the same house on the second floor. They use their upstairs apartment like they have no guests. The tv with the sound at max until 1h30 in the morning, dog barking late at night, etc. We felt like intruders. They use another stairs that somehow crosses the rented space. Don't walk naked in the house. We also had some issue with the gratuities that every other host is offering in Portugal. No sugar, coffee, tea, salt, etc available. No parking spot included even if the spot in front of the house was unoccupied. No tour of the house from the owner (she sent her teenager daughter). The water in the shower was scalding hot and no warning from the owner. No handsoap either. The washing machine is located in one of the bedrooms and nobody told us about it. No city views from the apartment despite the claim from the owner. We stayed one night and next day at 9h00 in the morning we received an email (outside Booking.com official channel of communication) from the owner asking us to confirm our departure time as they expected another guest, despite the check out at 11h00 that was written on site, like our time there was meaningless. They either have zero experience in running a tourist property or they just don't care about guests.

The house smell like mold.

Really spacious and incredibly well located in the heart of Evora. Great communication from the host Celeste including tips for the area and updated driving directions due to road closures associated with the municipal fair going on that weekend (which was a blast!). Very good value, wish we had stayed an extra night!

Close to all sights. Comfortable bed. Useful kitchen. Was able to park in front of owners garage as they were away.

Access was difficult. Google maps could not get us to the apt. One way streets and no way to turn led us in circles. The owner finally sent us a map (after we called) but it was useless. Last resort was to follow and pay a taxi to get us there. Even the taxi had difficulties. Owner should have provided a proper map and instructions PRIOR to our visit. It is a midevil old city but with proper instructions it would have saved hours and stress. Kitchen light not bright enough, too dark. High window in the bedroom could not be closed so light came in early am.
