Clean except the heavy blanket, like kitchen, perfectly ok, off street parking

Only unit in a 16 unit building that was occupied didn’t feel safe- never saw property manager- very much felt like a corporate Airbnb, a system which we do not like or believe is ethical. Sadly we cannot count on booking.com to screen these listings thoroughly, it seems.

Super close to restaurants in Virginia Highlands and Highland Yoga studio. Host was very responsive and even dropped off batteries within minutes of me telling them the tv remote needed them. Quiet neighborhood street.

We stayed in a first floor unit so we could hear some footsteps from the unit above, but it was not enough where we couldn’t fall asleep. Plus, there’s a noise machine in the bedroom which I love (I have one at home as well) and if necessary they do provide ear plugs.

The area.

The space was very small and was nothing as it was advertised. There is no sofa bed. There is a small leather coach that folds down flat. I would not recommend using it as a sofa bed because it was not comfortable. The staff was also very rude. We were charged an additional $45 on top of the original cleaning fee because we did not take out trash. The $300 deposit was not refunded adder 7 days. We had to contact the property manager and customer service to get out deposit back. The entire experience was HORRIBLE.

If there is no damage to property is would be just good business to return the deposit with a fast available time line.
