The Wee Den

Einfach PERFEKT. Hier stimmt wirklich alles!

The cabin is located on the grounds where historic Balfron cottage - the birthplace of the renowned Glasgow architect Sir Alexander “Greek” Thompson is situated (private house). One bedroom cabin is small but well equipped with undercounter fridge/freezer. No stove but microwave and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The breakfast selection includes plenty of milk, juice, bread, yoghurts, cornflakes, instant porridge, jam and butter. The place is well decorated and clean. The path along the river Endrick starts right behind the cottage. Very quiet and relaxing place.

Perfect selection for breakfast. Exceptionally clean. Lovely simple design in the cabin. Host, Bruce was friendly and very helpful. Lovely hot shower. Small supermarket very nearby

Excellent location and had all facilities we needed

The wee den is a fantastic little getaway from reality. It is perfectly located on the edge of town with amenities close by and just a short travel from beautiful walks and experiences. There is even a local walk around the river situated just outside the property gates!! The wee den is well equipped with everything you need, and if you have absolutely any questions, Bruce is very friendly and willing to help! I would highly recommend a stay at the wee den, it really is the ideal place to reset yourself, feel at ease and be back with nature, whilst simultaneously having typical life luxuries in a cosy cabin! Thanks again Bruce!

There would be nothing worth complaining about, the wee den is beautiful! Do be careful on the decking in the cold, it is a little slippy but it's decking so of course it gets slippery!
