Sea front designer apartment

The view is amazing. The host was very nice and responsive.

The property needs a good scrub. There was dusk under the bed and on the couches. It needs a deep cleaning. The towels are worn and discolouring. The bedding need to be replaced. There was a beeping noise. The stairs do not have a railing so if you have small children bear this in mind. None if the bathrooms have baths, just showers. The balcony chairs and deck need to be varnished. This house is in a beautiful location and needs a bit more TLC.

I liked Everything, Everything was 11/10

The location is great, a beautiful sea view from the lounge and main bedroom. The owner had towels for each room, including a starter kit which included toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel as well as a milk, sugar, teabags. Lots of kitchen utensils and things like a iron board, clothes drying rack came in handy. I appreciated the unique interior decorating of the place, a mix of old english and some arabic mosaic lights in the one bedroom. They've done a splendid job with the tiling. The showers are amazing. There are 3 showers and 3 toilets. Two ensuites, one with a toilet and one without. The TV is a good size and a smart TV so you can connect your Netflix and watch YouTube. The apartment is close to Thomson's bay, if you're fit you can take a walk there. It's also a close driving distance to Ballito Village and the mall.

The fridge kept making a beeping noise which was absolutely annoying especially at night. The place is very dusty. The light fixtures had thick dust, even the low hanging ones in the kitchen. The sofas whilst beautiful had absorbed a lot of moisture on the back of it, certain seats also felt damp. The place is in dire need of deep cleaning and airing out. My mum had a reaction to her skin after sleeping in the main bedroom, upon moving the mattress,it appeared to have some rot underneath. The ground floor bedroom is tiny but adequate, we knew about this from reading other comments. The staircase is not safe for small kids. Unfortunately our neighbour's were extremely noisy, construction started at 6am and ended into the night. The other apartment guests next door were very noisy and disturbed our sleep. Every night there were cars racing on the road above to the complex.

Superb apartment and location! Will be back 🙂

We expected 4 bedrooms, but that didn’t take the fun out of the the family trip

The location was fantastic, the place is right on the shores of the sea with beautiful views of the ocean and easy access to the beach.
