Sun and Sea I

Good location close to Funchal with a great sea view. Indoor parking lot. Clean and tidy.

Poor wifi on the balcony and in the bedroom.

This is a great apartment! So easy to check in, great communication, everything worked well, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Close to shops and cafes and the bus that takes you into Funchal. Best place I've stayed in Madeira!

There isn't anything wrong with the property. The apartment has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

I did not appreciate the owner. I did need help twice and he blew me off. When I couldn't find the property he told me “The directions are clear figure it out”. I got stuck inside the garage parking lot because all the resident's keys got deactivated. He told me “What do you want me to do about it?”. I was told to wait until Monday and this happened on Saturday. He told me “I will hang up now.” A nice resident asked someone in the building to help me open the garage door. Trust me when I say the owner can care less about you and that is who you giving your money to.

Excellent parking in the building

The key to the parking place and instructions were in the accommodation. It would be better if they were in the box with the key.

Couldn't be better. Will certainly try to book this appartement again if I would visit madeira for a second time.

The property was bright, clean and spacious. It was well equipped and secure. The parking garage below the apartment block and convenience store and other local shops were particularly useful. For non drivers there was a regular bus service nearby into Funchal. The apartment was on the 3rd floor accessible by stairs or 2 lifts.

Absolutely nothing.

All facilities were available, even a washing machine. Great view of the sea and balcony afforded views of sunrise and sunsets. The property is immaculate and obviously recently built. Easy access to Funchal by no. 155 bus just outside property - approx. 20 mins journey time, with good frequency.

Not a lot to do in Canico apart from eating and drinking and strolling along the shore but still makes for a good location and not that far from Funchal.
