Superb view over Cascais and the Ocean, with wonderful balcony

Beware!!! Mrs. Madalena is a cheater!!! First, check-ins to the apartment after 8pm are charged 15 euros for each hour, and this is not stated anywhere. Our plane was late and I informed the lady of the location and the time when we would arrive in front of the apartment. When we arrived, she was not there, so we called her and she replied that she would be coming in 10/15 minutes, in the end she was 25 minutes late. We waited for her with small children on the street. And after everything, she wanted to charge us an additional 15 euros for her delay! When we protested, she charged us 3 hours, a total of 45 euros (remember, we were waiting for her 25 minutes on the street with kids). But that's not all, she charged us a city tax of 48 euros. When we asked her for the bill, she said she couldn't give it to us. Later, we realized that we had already paid the city tax, because it was included in the price at Booking.com. To make it even worse, she didn't take our passports or information, which means she didn't check us in!  The entire time, the lady politely told us that Booking would refund our city tax, but at the same time, customer service told us that they were waiting for the host's response. Secondly, there's not much to say about the apartment, it's dirty, there's fungus/mold everywhere, the toilet smells of sewage all the time, and the balcony was a construction site (which they didn't warn us about).

Superb! The apartment is equipped with everything you need, and more. The view from the terrace is overwhelming, especially seeing the sunrise made my day. Everything was clean, tidy, and well prepared. Last but not least, Maria, the host. Her hospitality, kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism made me feel welcome and home. I'm surely going to find my way back, next time for a longer stay. Thank you so much!

I loved seeing the sunrise in the morning…stunning. Enjoyed the view from the terrace . Found a lovely walking trail near by that lead to centre of town …you can see the trail from the terrace .

The couch in the living room wasn’t comfortable. The dogs barking at night was annoying.

dirty and no cleaner or paper products to clean it. only one kitchen towel. so loud. walls are paper thin so the hammering going on next door felt it was inside. the shower head was broken and bathroom smelled.

Wonderful sea view from the high flour. Probably the ideal place where I'd stay here if not some issues.

Bedroom and bathroom with fungus -( wet bed smelling by..., fungus on the ceiling. It's covered in whitewash but... First night was 'what the hell is going on'... It was on edge of allergy.. After drying of air for a day by airconditioner it became more drier. But side effects... Actually, thanks for 2 airconds at the apartment I've dried an air and the furniture. I still can't understand what the strong smell was in the bath... looks like anti-fungi chemicals, but I am not sure. I've used heater in the bath... it helped to reduce strong smell and kept temperature at comfy level.
