We had a booking for 5 nights at Sun apartment and we had to leave after one night The experience we had was bad for the following reasons: Garage is opened to the lobby and petrol smells fill up the corridors of the house. The apartment had a sewer smell from 1 bathroom which you couldn’t get in. Corridors are darkened so save on electricity and should light up when movement is recognized , it takes time and you find yourself blinded in an unfamiliar place. The apartment had a strong, terrible sewer smell from 1 bathroom which you couldn’t get in. two bedrooms had no curtains so the strong light from the street was disturbing our sleep. The isolation is very poor so every car that went by we had to smell its fumes as well as hearing its noise – sleeping was challenging. Car park is very uncomfortable, risky and narrow, getting in and especially getting out is very difficult. Gas didn’t light properly in the kitchen. All the apartment smelled of bug exterminator spray and my son had breathing irritations. After all that we invited the owner to see the problems, he didn’t deny , we told him we are leaving and would like the rest of our money back, he told us to approach booking and demand the refund. After we approached booking the owner rejected all we said and we haven’t received any refund regarding the nights we haven’t used. That shows you the type and reliability of the owner. The owner only speaks Chinese and his young daughter translate which is problematic, his representative speaks English but has no power to do nothing. To summarize – stay away from this place.

The light levels in the bedrooms at night from the street lights. Sleeping masks are required here. Sleep was not ideal.

This apartment was perfect - it was so spacious and all three bedrooms had their own entrance hallway and bathroom so felt quite private. I stayed here for my wedding in Portugal and it was the ideal place for me and my family - plenty of space. The living area was huge and has a massive wrap around balcony overlooking a nice green park. The apartment is minutes from the action but seemed fairly peaceful - no loud noise from bars /clubs
