Casa do Menino Jesus

We arrived during the country wide power outage. Host was very kind to help us above and beyond in any way possible. Location is great for walking. Room was very big. Back patio area was private and nice to sit in

Could feel the springs in the bed, not the most comfortable. Back patio could use a little bit of tidying. But overall no issues.

The unique atmosphere

we had the whole unit to us, and also use of outside patio (with washing machine) we were allowed to check in early, which was great very central location, we could easily walk everywhere well-equipped kitchen we did not have much contact with the hosts, but they replied quickly to our messages.

the unit was a bit on the dark side, a bit on the humid side. there was a de-humidifier, but didn't help much. on the positive side, we could dry our clothes on the patio

I loved everything about this place. I thought I was getting a room but I got a whole apartment! The owners, who live up above, are lovely, vibrant people who made me feel welcome right from the start. Guests have full use of a very nice patio with lemon trees and a brick Bar-B-Q. I really liked being able to do laundry! I LOVED that I got the opportunity to stay in one of Evora’s classic houses! This apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Even though I did not use it, the kitchen is very nice and well equipped with a sink, fridge, glass stovetop stove ,a microwave and utensils. The bathroom is very clean and modern. The bed is comfortable and the tv has tons of stations. It is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the main square and most of it is along a very nice walking street. Everything about staying here was so great, I stayed an extra night!

Not a single thing.

Excellent location near many things to see (and to eat). Apartment is perfect and has all you need, also very nice interior. Comfortable bed. Temperature in January was quite low but apartment was nice and cosy. And host super helpful and friendly.

The location was perfect, the accommodation was large, comfortable and well equipped. It was a beautiful building and we had access to lovely garden area. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming . They did our laundry and drove us to and from the bus stop. They made us feel like family.

We liked everything.
