CASA DO CABIDO - Elegance in simple traits

Clean, convenient, comfortable, relaxing courtyard, wonderful host. Alexandre was amazing, he couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a great stay. He even came to help us when we got hopelessly lost trying to navigate the streets of Evora. The house is immaculate, close to the central square and easy walking to most of the historic attractions around the city. Would highly recommend this amazing little hidden gem.

Everything was outstanding: location, cleanliness, amenities, comfort, and contact with the host. Located a short 4 minute walk to the main plaza in Evora, you will find several cafes and restaurants in the square and in surrounding streets. As for sights to see, turn down virtually any street in Evora and you will see something special. The accommodation itself was spotless and super well organized, and my wife loved the comfortable mattress and plush bath robes! We highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

The property was perfect, just like the pictures if not better! Perfect for 3/4 people, the house was very well equipped and in a great location. Alexandre was extremely helpful and friendly. I fully recommend staying at Casa do Cabido!

The only downside was the fact that most windows didn’t have blinds on them so a lot of light came in in the morning.

The house was located in a nice neighbourhood close to the main historical spots, with lots of restaurants and sight seeing around, and the house was very cozy and confortable. Amenities were very nice too. And comunication with the hosts was great.

It's impossible to black out the light outside as the window blinds don't block the light and although it's a quiet neighbourhood, we hear completely all the sounds in the street, cars or people, so it might get a bit disturbing for someone who has trouble sleeping.

The house is in excellent conditions. It has everything you need to have a great Evora experience. Very good towels and linen. The house has good wifi connection. The owner was always paying attention to our needs. The house is located in the old part of the city and allows you to walk anywhere in the city.

If you like to sleep in the dark the house has small curtains. So, bring a sleeping mask.

This place just felt like home. I was comfortable as soon as I arrived. My hosts were extremely helpful they really wanted me to enjoy my stay in Evora. This place is well situated to everything. I enjoyed my morning coffee in the patio, relaxed in the living room. Air conditioning worked well as did the wifi! All the comforts of home. And the decor was better than home!

The house is an absolute gem!!!!! Great location in the old part of Évora. Gorgeous, beautifully designed space with a lovely outdoor terrace. Amazingly well equipped. A warm and welcoming host.

Nothing! Everything was amazing!

One of the most beautiful places we've stayed at. Architecture is incredible. Squeaky clean - not a speck of dust, not even under the carpets!! Apartment is inside medieval city walls, very central. We have stayed at many many places in our travels, this is one of the best in the world. Beats 5-star hotels. Manuel (Alexandre's dad) is a sweetheart.
