ATIt was not far from the conference hall where I needed to be. The host seems nice.
It has almost NO wifi there. People who go there should expect no wifi. There is only very very limited wifi after 10pm for two hours via some old internet box that has almost no battery so it has to be plugged in at all times (see picture) and it didn’t work everyday during our stay there. I can’t download my train tickets. I wasn’t able to use WhatsApp for most of my stay here. The lack of wifi is a serious problem for me. Host was not responsive to my messages. Did not tell me how much it cost to add a third person before I went tho I had asked. Only bec she said all bookings on booking dot com was managed for her by some tourism office in Regensburg. When I arrived, I had to pay a lot more for the third person compared to if I had added the third person before I went. The place is next to the train tracks so if you are a light sleeper you may have problems but I am not a light sleeper so I was ok. Every time the train passes by, the lights would go off. This place is like a museum. lots of old dolls and occult things decorated the property. If you like those kind of things you will be fine. I found it quite creepy for my liking. The host seems friendly. I don’t think I would stay there again for the two obvious reasons.
