Everything! super new apartment, very clean, perfectly located!

Communication with host good and location was also good. The apartment was well set out and had everything you need.

Noisy motorbikes while sat on balcony but no noise once doors shut to go to bed.

An excellent apartment in a good location close to the centre. Very well equipped.

This was our first time in Sardinia and we couldnt have picked a nicer apartment. The owners are really helpful and there is great communication from them. They kept in touch on the day of arrival. We phoned them on arrival at the property and they let us in the main front door and then there is a lock box outside the front door of the apartment to get into the flat. The location is great, 10 mins walk from where the airport bus drops you, 10 mins walk to the front and promenade and 10 mins walk to the old town. There is a bakers next door which has lovely cakes and there is a co-op supermarket in the next street. The apartment is lovely and has everything you could possibly want. It was extremely quiet our whole stay, in fact I think its the quietest accommodation we have ever stayed in. We didnt hear anything from any of the other flats the whole stay - It was so peaceful. There are 2 balconies, the main one is spacious and has table and chairs so you can eat outside, the other one has an outdoor sink, washing machine and dryer/airer which is really handy. The TV didnt have any english channels but we werent going to sit and watch tv anyway so that didnt matter. The owners left us some delicious biscuits from the bakers. The air con was a godsend as the temperatures were 41 degrees while we were there and getting hotter so having air con in the main lounge/dining/kitchen and bedroom was most welcome. The owners seems to have thought of everything - sandwich toaster, kettle, coffee machine, hairdryer, even hair straightners. Alghero is a lovely town, busy but has a nice relaxed feel about it. The sea is very shallow with clear blue water and plenty of restaurants/cafes along the beach. Sunbeds are expensive - 20 Euros were the cheapest for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella but some places were charging 35 euros. So if you are beach lovers you need to bear this cost in mind as it is expensive for a week or two weeks holiday.

We couldnt fault the apartment at all. Sunbeds on the beach are expensive. Restaurants in the old town were quite expensive and had quite a limited selection surprisingly. Admittedly I am a fussy eater but apart from pizza everything else involved sea food. There didnt seem to be many vegetarian options.
