Silver Birch Retreat at Percy Woods

It was lovely and spacious and well Sited.

The beds were uncomfortable.

We planned a last-minute getaway and found this gorgeous little home available. The pictures do not do it justice. We were blown away when we arrived ! Everything was immaculately clean and well equipped. Welcome hamper with tea coffee sugar Jam cookies milk! Large fridge freezer and oven microwave kettle . Very well equipped. Everything you need except bath towels. Owner is friendly and communication was fab . Very easy to find . Kids park on site . Everyone seemed friendly. Pets welcome. Information folder inside was handy for places to eat etc. Location Is fantastic for exploring the Northumberland coast. We visited Bamburgh Seahouses Craster Amble Alnwick in two days and wish we could have booked longer ! We look forward to returning later this year . Thank you 😊 x

Leaving ! Wish we could have had longer. Glad we took our black out travel curtains for the windows as was very bright very early on for little one. Just a couple of bits we thought we'd mention , not complaining, but maybe could be looked at The corridor door wouldn't stay open on its own, and no door stops/clip for it . Main door clip to keep it open was snapped off. Mirror light in main bathroom wasn't working and the main bedroom small light above bed wasn't working. None of this bothered us at all they are just suggestions.

The accommodation is exceptionally well furnished and cozy. The equipment was very good. Comfortable beds and everything you need to cook and live.

Clean well looked after like home from home . Would booke again when staying in that area.

Nothing negative

The property was extremely clean and well maintained. It had everything you would need for a self catering vacation. Ironically we didn't bring the dog as there is rarely enclosed decking but this property had front and side enclosed decking. Has a lovely meal in the pub on site, staff were really nice. Purpose of visit was to go to Lilidorei with my daughter, this was fab, Alnwick was a lovely place.

It would have been nice to be able to walk to the pub. Can't comment on the site much as we just went out.

Lovely place locals friendly lodge was beautiful had everything you needed very comfy will book again
