Vv - Casa Clary -Finca Medina

Lovely quiet spot in the palm valley of Alojera, in a particularly quiet corner of La Gomera. The apartment is well equiped, the ocean views on the roof terrace are beautiful and Clary is a very helpful and friendly host. Thanks for the fresh local fruit and eggs, and the delicious wine from Tenerife! There’s a small neighbourhood shop for your basic groceries 10 minutes walking (steep) up the hill, and I can highly recommend the lovely Restaurante Prisma -specialised in fresh fish- at the beach, although it was a 30 minutes walk to get there, not to mention the though (very steep again) climb back up the hill after dinner.

In general Alojera isn’t ideal maybe for visitors without a car, as the nearest supermarket is in Vallehermoso, the bus to Vallehermoso only stops twice a day (6:30 and 14:30, on Saturdays no busses at all) and the main asphalt road through the village doesn’t hold a footpath. For visitors with a car and looking for a peaceful quiet stay with beautiful ocean views I can certainly recommend Alojera ánd Finca Medina!

The accommodation was very clean and beautifully presented, with everything we wanted for our stay. There was nothing we needed that hadn't already been thought of and provided by Clary, who was the perfect host. We arrived to a spectacular welcome basket of fruit, food essentials and wine. We really found it hard to leave after a fabulous week.

Quiet place, spacious, comfortable, extremely tidy apartment, very well equipped. Our host, Clary, really cared about our comfort.

The apartment is impeccably clean, spacious, fully equipped, and features a large roof terrace. The hostess and her family are very welcoming, and the fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden were excellent additions to our stay. Thank you!

The lovely host greeted us and handed over the keys. Despite our limited spanish she gave us a tour and mentioned lots of great places to visit and eat. Our welcome pack was amazing: large fruit platter from her garden, homemade biscuits and liquer, local wine etc. during our stay she regularly checked up that we were ok and gave us salad from her garden. we loved the roof top balcony and star gazing

Parking was on the road but this was very quiet and not a problem

it was soooooo wonderful! the accommodation is great, very clean and has a wonderful view. clary and her family are sooooo lovely! we felt in love and will come back! muchas gracias abuela Clary ;)
