Sea View & infinity pool apartments in Kaliakria resort

The resort is huge and the location is nice. The view of the sea from the cliffs is amazing. There are 5 pools and 3 restaurants to choose from. Our apartment was very spacious and had a large terrace and you could see the sea. The kitchen had all the necessary facilities to prepare a meal.

From the pictures everything looks amazing, but if you take a closer look, the illusion fades. Checking every surface, item or facility in detail, you can see it is not very well maintained or cleaned. Our apartment has several issues: the balcony door was broken, it could not be open normally since it was falling down from the top hinge. It took a lot of effort and patience to try and open it, holding it with both hands; the bathroom and bedroom doors could not be closed, because both handle pins were broken; the bathroom had a bad sewer smell - this combined to the fact the door could not be closed from the outside influenced us in a very negative way. There were a lot of broken furniture items or damaged pieces. The cleaning was only done before arrival, superficially. You could see old stains on every corner or in out of the way areas. From the booking reservation page, it said we have an apartment with private pool. This is deceiving, since there are no private pools. Our pool was shared between 8 buildings, so hundreds of apartments. This is a shared, public pool. Same with the rest. Our pool had a bar construction, but it was never open. The only open one was for the bigger pool in the middle, the one with the bridge. For such a large resort, with many hundred apartments, there are not many sun beds. Our pool had about 20-25 servings about 150 apartments. You need to wake up very early to even have a chance to grab one. Even so, going to the pool at 7am, you were not able to find a baldachin bed, ever. Some guests, mostly Ukrainians staying there long time, left towels on the beds for days, keeping them occupied, even if they never came to sit there. In 7 days, I have never found a free one.

Totul a fost perfect! Apartamentul este dotat cu absolut tot ce ai nevoie, masină de spălat vase, mașină de spălat rufe, pături pentru terasă, bucătărie complet utilată, canapea și pat confortabil, vedere către piscină și către mare, , terasă unde te poți relaxa.

Pentru noi, totul a fost foarte bine. Piscine multe, locuri pentru toata lumea, comunicarea cu proprietarul a fost exceptionala. Vom reveni cu siguranta.

Kaliakria resort is the perfect choice if you want peace and quiet, nice views, all that you need in one place. The fact that is a pet friendly place made the difference for us, it was the element that made us pick this place but we are now happy we did, because we discovered a wonderful place to spend some days in the sun. The pools are great, the garden is wonderful. It exceeded our expectation and the communication with the host was smooth and pleasant. Thank you and we hope to come back again soon!
