The property appeared to be clean, however, i do not believe it was used recently - within a day of my stay, on the first night my skin felt itchy. The followong morning my arms, shoulders hips ankles were covered in bites. I assumed these were bites from insects even though it is winter and cooler and there were no insects around to be seen or heard. Further to leaving property, I visited my GP, who informed me that I had been infected with mite bites. It is now over 1 week of treating my skin eruptions and they still are present.

I have outlined my experience as listed above - the apartment appeared clean but was infested wuth bed bugs - i suspect that the apartment has not been in use very frequently and has resulted in my mite infestation. This is a terrible thing to have to happen - in all my times if travel I have never been infected by mite infestation.

The host communicated with us on WhatsApp and gave us all the info we needed and followed up. There was a welcome drink and the apartment was clean. The apartment is tastefully decorated. The two aircons worked well. It is very good value for money.

The road in the complex is extremely narrow with cars parked on both sides. It took careful driving to navigate to our parking bay. The complex is a bit run down with not the best security. There are quite a few stairs to the apartment and the parking bay is not close to the apartment. I would suggest bringing your own coffee as Ricoffee is supplied. It would have been a much better experience if the linen would have been of better quality, but you get what you pay for. The painter who painted the apartment really did a bad job and clearly did not use masking tape. It is a real eyesore. He even painted over the light switches. The grout on the shower floor has also been done very poorly. There is a strong sulphur smell coming from the bathroom basin. The apartment is lovely but needs a little TLC.

Loved the apartment, very artsy and well taken care of. We had a lovely time.
