Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung und gut durchdachte Ausstattung bis ins kleinste Detail, sehr herzliche Gastgeber (nochmals vielen Dank für das leckere Begrüßungsgeschenk), ruhige Lage mit tollem Blick auf Stadt und Fluss - trotzdem nur kurze Wege in die Stadt.

Appartamento molto bello e curato, con vista meravigliosa sulla città. Posizionato perfettamente per poter visitare i punti di interesse a piedi. Proprietari disponibili e simpatici.

Eine super ruhige FeWo, aber dennoch super und günstig gelegen. Viele kleine schöne Dinge in der Wohnung, schöne Altbauwohnung. Nespressomaschine, ein Piccolöchen und eine wunderbare Schokolade haben mir gleich die Ankunft versüßt!;)

Parkplatz könnte schwierig werden, aber 10 min entfernt ist sonst ein Parkhaus

The apartment is good size, it's lovely that the bedroom can be closed off. There is plenty of room to spread out, with a full sized table with seating for 4 & a large sectional sofa. Great attention was given to lighting, which was very tastefully & thoughtfully done - many lighting options, and none harsh or too bright. The bathroom mirror is particularly impressive. Also, very clean RR, towels, supplies, etc. and has great water pressure & hot water. Some hotels could take a lesson from these people. Bedroom and living areas have separate televisions. Super fast wifi, good connection. Bed is comfortable, and a large fan on a stand is provided to help you stay cool, which we did. (We are from Florida and are used to air-conditioning) The apartment is very quiet, allowing for a restful environment. Kitchenette is marvelously equipped & spotless. You couldn't ask for more! Decor is calm & sophisticated, and local information is provided in a handy folder. There are also books & phamphlets. Amazing view (The river! The flowers! The spires! The quaint buildings! The stately ones!) with windows that open fully to let in birdsong and breeze, and close to shut out nearly all sound and light. Additionally, the owners (on site) are SUPER with communication. Every time I reached out, there was a prompt answer, very kind and helpful. You can tell how much they care about each detail.

I wish there was an on-site parking option (there are only 5 street spaces available... five. The rest are reserved for special permits. *IF you are fortunate enough to get one, looking out to the street from the gate of the building- they comprise the one spot to the left of the zig-zag "don't park here" lines, and the 4 to the right, directly under a giant shade tree* Note: this is not the Property's fault... and there ARE handy underground lots nearby. We used the one at the "Welcome Hotel" (a few minutes away), which you can walk to along the river, so that is super nice. Owners will help guide you to parking - not to worry! The floors are super pretty wood, but super creaky as well! If you go to the restroom at night, you're waking people up. Again, it's no one's fault... just the nature of historic buildings. Lastly, a word of warning: there are 47 steps up. Just say'n. If you ate a large meal, this will help you work it off!

The area was very quiet but close to buses and to the Alstadt. There were fine views of the Rezidenz and the Cathedral. Lovely to be able to hear the bells. The apartment was on the second floor on a road beside the river. If you were planning to come to Bamberg for symphonic music it could not be better placed… perhaps just a 5 minute walk to the Konzerthalle. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was powerful. There was an Edeka ( supermarket) a short walk away. We had three nights in Bamberg and it was a good base for our time there.
