The apartment was nicely remodeled

C/I time said until midnight, leading me to think that I would be greeted by a person, instead after trying to contact host via WhatsApp and Bookings.com at 10:30pm with no response, I ended up sleeping in common area of hallway on a marble floor until 6:30am when host must have woke to see my messages and sent me key box code, claiming that I never sent them my ID, which I had and have proof of sending several times, a solo traveler at the age of 58 my three day trip was ruined because my body was so sore from sleeping on the marble floor outside the door, once I was given access to room I had to cancel a scheduled tour due to my body being so sore, and slept the day away, the mattress was one of those thick foam ones and I did not sleep well the two out of three nights I had access to unit, the other furniture was your typical hodgepodge of old furniture, as well as the sparce miscellaneous cookware and table ware, that had seen better days, place was clean, other than every time I gargle after brushing my teeth I could see the bathroom vent that had not been cleaned in years, place was plenty spacious for a young family of four, unfortunately due to my unacceptable arrival and poor quality of mattress, I was unable to do 90% of the things I had planned for my three night visit, including the lost charge of a tour that I had to cancel.

The location was ok, near the train station and about 15 minute walk to centre of town.

Overall the apartment felt unclean. One night the shower overflowed and when we inspected found the drain clogged with hair, mould and scum. It was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. The cutlery and crockery all needed cleaning before we used it. The sofa bed was perhaps the most uncomfortable thing I have ever tried to sleep on. One roll of toilet paper for two people for 5 nights is not good. People who are travelling do not want to be carrying things like this around. No one met us at the property to explain things which is the first time ever. The host was rude and dismissive when we tried to contact them and defended the apartment of course. Personally I would not recommend this place. It was not welcoming or comfortable. There is also no bathrobes as stated in the add or no water in the water cooler as in the photos.
