Realkasa Amendola Apartment

Nice location and comfortable for two couples.

There were some minor issues of cleaning. The checkout was very strict. We were almost thrown out of the property. The checkout was at 10:00 and the cleaning services were ringing the bell since 9:40.

Great size and two bathrooms

Extremely noisy from bin collection two times every night.

The bedrooms were spacious and well fitted out. It was close to the station (2 mins walk)

There were no amenities all - no coffee, tea, shampoo, shower cap etc. The area was not the best. About 15 mins walk to the centre and not the best area to walk in at night. That said we had no actual problems.

It was our HUB to transfer to other cities as it was conveniently closed to the train station. The apartment was adequate for the number of us staying in it. The kitchen was well equipped. As a suggestion, another set of towels, an additional blanket per bedroom and a bath gel dispenser for each shower would be a good idea. Having a washing machine in the apartment was great!

The area the apartment is located was unexpected as it looks a little rundown. However, it was comforting to see pedestrians walking comfortably in the area. The apartment made up for the area it is located.

Being near the station, has its advantages and drawbacks. Convenient for walking around Bologna and for getting to a train, but difficult for parking and for friends trying to pick you up. There is a side street that is not as busy as the main road on which you can double park, whilst entering and exiting a vehicle. Marco, was very helpful and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. The two rooms with separate bathrooms, en suite, were lovely and private. There was a washing machine and clothes horse for drying your washing. The apartment is well equipped, but I would add a toaster to the kitchen utensils.

There was refurbishing going on, which added to the noise level and slightly hampered access to the lift on our departure.

The kitchen/living is slightly small but not really an issue if you’re out most of the day exploring

We were met promptly at the apartment to pick up keys. The apartment is as per photos, 2 large bedrooms both with bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. The apartment was in a convenient location for train station and Bologna centre. We liked it a lot and would stay here again

The only minor thing is the downside of being close to centre and station makes for a noisy street. You could hear traffic and general hustle and bustle all night.
