Lokacija je bila dobra

Javili smo vlasniku naše očekivano vrijeme dolaska, nakon više upućenih poziva vlasnik javlja kako neće moći doći otvoriti smještaj u skorijem roku. Na hladnoći nije baš bilo ugodno čekati da vlasnik otvori smještaj.

This unit is an easy 10 minute walk from the bus station, which offers a shuttle to the Airport every 30 minutes for 8 euro. There are 2 grocery stores near the apartment and it's within walking distance of anything you want to do in lower and upper town. The host was very welcoming and the place was perfect for a couple. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. No complaints at all and would recommend.

Read reviews - lots of “excellent”, “exceptional with high numbers - but mostly about the host’s friendliness and parking availability. Some red flags popped up so our expectations were not too high given price for 3 nights. Close to transport links - yes Good shower pressure - yes Wi fi - yes (had to call owner for correct information but yes he seemed friendly and helpful).

Reality Check What we didn’t expect but what was advertised as part of “luxurious and bright apartments” in the owner’s manual: City view - rubbish bins, graffiti buildings on main road with 24hr trams Soundproof windows - did little to stop traffic and tram noise all night Quality linen - pilled and scratchy base sheet, no top sheet, pillows that have little body left in them and that old sock smell that comes with linen being stored damp. Bright apartment - perhaps if you left the blinds open but the entire studio is window facing depressing view at street level. The studio apartment is showing signs of wear and tear which is not shown in photos and needs a good clean (hair in the fridge). Some of these things have been mentioned by previous reviewers who then scored 9s and 10s! Reality check definitely needed.

Condiții de cazare foarte bune, parcare gratuita in curtea din spatele blocului. Am avut noroc ca am găsit loc liber.
