Harbour View Ground Floor Flat with Private Parking, only 5 Mins walk to harbour

The flat is well equipped and spacious with a sea view. The location is excellent, taking around 5 minutes to walk down to the town via the steps just across the road from the accommodation.

We loved staying here , it was an amazing location just above the harbour. It had everything you would need for a family stay, washing machine was a god send and some cool board games for the kids on the evening. A lovely little basket left for us on arrival and chocolates on the kids towels. Great that it had a driveway and josh was really helpful with everything. Decor was really nice and felt like home .

Could be a challenge for people with walking difficulties as there are hills and steps

parking was a real bonus but not good if you have a large car

walking up Shinners Steps coming back from the town! Might only be 5 minutes walking down to the harbour , takes a lot longer walking back up though, wouldn't be good for any one with mobility problems. Television reception was poor (indoor aerial) which rather spoilt watching the Euros in the evening

We liked everything

Lovely little cottage, perfect location and a spacious living area. The cottage was a short walk from Brixham centre and had a lovely view over the harbour. The host left a little welcome gift which was very kind and a welcomed gesture. All of the amenities within the cottage were great and we had everything we needed for a weekend stay.

The only negative we had was regarding the beds, the main bedroom is extremely comfortable and we cannot fault it however we hadn’t realised the second bed was just the sofa pulled down in half to make it flat and not a pull out bed. Our children slept on this and they are still young but you wouldn’t comfortably fit two adults or teenagers on there. I slept on it one night with my youngest and had to top and tail to fit on. We cannot fault anything else though and overall a fab cottage and location.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The location was excellent with a view to Brixham Harbour, best from the living room, where binoculars are provided. There is an outside paved area where you can sit and catch up with a good book for some quiet time and a bbq, which we did not use. A short walk down steps to the vibrant harbour with lovely shops and restaurants but the steps are steep! Private parking space an absolute bonus. Karen was a friendly and helpful host.
