Нужно учитывать что добираться нужно на фуникулере, ждать очень долго в очереди и платить за каждую поездку наверх и вниз Учитывая дополнительные расходы, цена за жилье слишком высокая Утюг не работал, не было мыла

Brunate is a small village above Como in the hills. The apartment is a fully equipped home, there is nothing you can miss among the equipments. Clean and well organized. Check-in is super easy, well described and photo illustrated. It is nice to have relaxing time in the village, cute restaurants available, low traffic, clean air, really calm atmosphere.

Car parking is difficult, but some flexibility it is manageable.

the location is really good at the top of lake Como in brunate, not far from the funicular. it felts more authentic than being down and the view from the village are amazing. it was spacious and clean the host was responsive and the self check-in super easy

one tiny point was the bunk bed who seem to be more for children than adults but it was fine for one night

There is a spacious patio that you can use when the weather is nice. I am afraid it's difficult to find anything more than this.

I understand that it was low season but the experience has been very suboptimal, to say the least. The apartment and especially the sheets were not clean at all, the heating was off even if it was November and it was super humid and cold inside the apartment. We all slept with our coats on. Parking is also an issue as I ended up parking 12+ minutes away on foot. The check-in instructions were disorganized and in random order so the whole process felt like a proper puzzle and it took ages to follow. The worst part was the communication with the owners. I understand that the average Italian doesn't speak English but someone can at least do the slightest effort and use a translation app to communicate with their guests, especially in so touristic places like Como Lake. I received the check-in instructions in English but all the details about the apartment were sent in Italian. As a result, I missed that I had to pay the owner the 12 EUR 'destination fee' and the 'city tax' by PayPal (unfortunately I had no cash with me). That was totally fine but instead of receiving a polite notification about it in the already existing WhatsApp thread that I had with the owners, someone from Booking Support contacted me to tell me that 'I left the accommodation without paying' and 'I didn't follow the policies'. It would take literally 30 seconds for a message to be translated in English and share the PayPal details by WhatsApp, I cannot find any reason to escalate to Booking.com for this. On top of this, there was no follow up from the owners when I tried to contact them and pay the two taxes. Overall, zero effort made to show the slightest consideration to visitors. It's really a lost opportunity because the apartment has the foundation to provide a great experience.
