Bella Vista - Vue Océan

Stunning view over the city and the ocean.

The apartment is very nice, modern, functional with windows and balcony towards the ocean along the whole apartment. I love the floors. Bed is good, bedsofa IKEA, good as well. The ocean is present with the sound and the fresh air. The price was low season, I didn’t see people swim but the sea water was warm in my opinion. However the waves are wild coming in from the open ocean. We got a warm welcome and answers to all out questions and then enjoyed the stay as if it was our own home. Lovely to sit on the balcony or in the kitchen with balcony doors open enjoying the evening. Car was good for shopping and excursions to nearby cities.

Second visit to this lovely apartment. The views, the beach and everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay.

The checkin is difficult. Have not had that trouble in ages. The landlords only offer a 3 hour window for checkin and then expected me to agree on a precise ! time, when I will arrive. Difficult, ahead of a 90km bicycle tour. As I was 20 minutes early, I had to wait outside for the time agreed. Honestly, we have 2023, modern technology has things like key safes and digital door locks. Waiting for somebody to bring a key is last century. Letting the client wait instead of the person bringing the keys was never a good option. At checkin the lady wanted to take a photo of my ID card, which I declined, leading to minor confusion. Probably she has no idea how much fun you can have online with somebody elses ID card. The location is next to the beach, seperated from it by a 4 lane road. The road is pretty busy and you hear every car as well as the folks playing basketball clearly. With the Portuguese love of noisy combustion engines, you never feel alone here, unless you close the doors to the balconies and hence miss the sea breeze. The building is a modern concrete block, not especially nice. The apartment is on the 8th floor with 3 balconies offering stunning sea-views. The apartment has a realy well renovated bathroom. The rest is closer to 1980, but all jolly well maintained and very, very clean. Only, I could not find the advertised 70 square meters. To sum it up, the traffic noise, the view, the price... for me it does not quite end up. A bit too pricy for what it is. Still I enjoyed my night here.
