Nice central location, and the apartment is lovely. Many kitchen utensils are present.

The stairs are steep and many, but no problem since it was in the description and we knew beforehand.

Nothing in particular. The stairs to reach the flat are… designed to keep you fit, but unsuitable if you have any disabilities or bulky luggage.

The apartment is quiet and tastefully decorated. The location is excellent.

We were okay with going up and down all the many stairs to get into the apartment, but it definitely isn’t a place for people who aren’t in good condition. The stairs did keep us in excellent condition for our following hut-to-hut trip in the Dolomites!

Beautiful apartment with a good view. There are many steps up to the apartment so it is not recommended to people who doesn’t walk well. Furthermore there was not parking area close to the apartment. The aircondition didn’t work so it was extremely hot in the apartment. But it is close to the center and sea which was really nice.

Great location

Steps very steep. They let you know just before checkin that air con is extra charge, so need to factor in , we only used it very little and it cost us an extra $20, so about $10 an hour

There’s a wonderful baker right outside the door and every kind of everything to enjoy.

Don’t feed the seagulls!

I wouldn't recommend it to people who find LOTS of steep stairs tiring...!!!! The host did write that the stairs were 'challenging and not for people with disabilities', but it made it less relaxing than if it had been 2nd/3rd floor.

Well equipped apartment, great views on the beach and the coastline from the balcony. Just a step away from the restaurant strip along the promenade, a great foccareria and fresh pasta shop directly next door. We walked about 10 minutes from the train station to the apartment.

As long as you can walk up stairs the location and apartment are perfect. Felt completely at home and everything we needed for our stay was available. The balcony is a huge plus with beautiful views. We are so happy we chose Silmar.

Really great place to stay - lovely apartment, views, old building in the centre, great atmosphere. Not only can you stay in a lovely old town but the walks in the hills have magnificent views - lots of up and downhill!!

Steep stairs to get luggage up but well worth it to stay in such an atmospheric place.
