The Onyx Suite - 1 Bed apartment w/ free parking

This would have to be the worst place I have ever stayed in. The floors were covered with rice and potato crisps, I dropped an item, had to move the couch, under this was just filthy. The oven doesn't ever look like it has ever been cleaned. Had to was all plates, knives forks and cooking pans. The microwave was putrid as was the heater cover. There was no hair-dryer, iron or ironing board and the clothes airer had been smashed. We could not wait to get out of there.

The whole property experience was dismal. We didn't not feel comfortable there at all. It just felt dirty.

Bedroom was clean

Old shower with rotten silicone. For the price I paid I was expecting a lot more.

Having a washing machine was a huge advantage

Free parking in a quiet location. All the kitchen equipment needed for a home from home. Friendly, understanding staff.

Nothing.

Was what it was for the price

Location was good, plenty of space. Bright and airy with a well equipped kitchen. Parking was good and key box made getting in simple.

It wasn't very clean, 1 cup was badly chipped and the pans and place mats needed a scrub. There was only 1 wine glass and the kitchen shelves were in need of a clean. The quilt cover was missing buttons so the quilt didn't stay inside it. The living room blind was bent and twisted and gave an awful 1st impression. None of these things are difficult or expensive to fix but altogether it felt very cheap, uncared for and not welcoming to new guests.

Good facilities. Access etc was excellent. Good communication. Overall.. clean, tidy, towels, soap etc

When I moved the settee forward closer to the TV I could see the cleaner had simply swept dirt under it. Disgusting really. It did put me off what would have been a very good stay. Also.. the linoleum could do with replacing
