Stylish Apartment with Private Parking

Good location for our needs. Apartment was comfortable. Everything we needed, Tea, coffee etc. towels, shampoo etc. was provided. Beds were comfortable. Rooms a good size for our party's needs. Issue with lockbox sorted very quickly by owner.

Minor issue with lockbox (code changed from that in email). Sorted very quickly by owner (very promnpt response to text). Long trek up the stairs. No lift available. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Safe apartment and quiet. Cozy and spacious. Decor was stylish. Parking was great. TV streaming was good. The owner of the property was responsive.

First iimpression: dirty. Stains on the carpet and on the sofa. Told my kids to leave their shoes on. The lounge chair had a screw missing, and another screw was nearly out. Throw for sofa had hole in. Beds were uncomfortable. I had to sleep on the sofa bed where the back had been incorrectly put back on. Both sofa mountings were bent, and my husband straightened them up. The window wouldn't open in the bedroom. Its inside linkage was broken. The door handle in the hall cupboard was missing. The bedroom door had no mechanism, so to keep it shut, we used the provided door wedge. One of the lights didn't work. Some of the crockery and knives in the kitchen were missing, and this made eating tricky. The bathroom needs attention. The photos on the advert are not accurate.

The property was very spacious. It was warm and comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. There were a variety of cleaning products, toiletries and condiments available in the apartment. The beds and sofa were comfortable. It was very useful to have a washing machine. The private carport space was great. It was easy to find the property and the check in process was very simple. It was very helpful to have a spare set of bedding.

The shower leaked a lot onto the bathroom floor. The apartment was a bit shabby in places - kitchen, bathroom and carpet in particular (although this can be a benefit when you are travelling with children!) The kitchen appliance master switches aren’t immediately obvious so a bit of guidance here would have been useful. The parking space was a little tight for our big car. These were all very minor issues! The main negative, which was actually quite annoying, is the crockery and cutlery provision - there were only 3 cereal bowls and only 3 wine glasses, the cutlery was mismatched and tatty. Much of it was dirty when we arrived. It felt like we were using a student kitchen! I can see there have been negative reviews about this since 2022. It would be very easy to replace all the crockery and cutlery with a new set of 6 of everything, and that would make a big difference.

I was forced to pay a deposit...it wasn't stated while booking. I had to pay at the middle of the night... totally unacceptable....

Lovely apartment, very spacious own parking space was a bonus.

States no room for a cot, but there's so much room, even if it's not supplied then nothing stopping guests taking their own.

Poorly managed property. Kitchen was dirty. Dishes and equipment were not cleaned. Bathroom shower broken. Iron board was broken. Even vacuum cleaner not suction properly.
